Project Implementation Unit of the "National Water Resources Management - Phase 1" on November 30, 2017 in the training hall of the Chui OVK held a regular meeting of the working group on the development of the Chui River Basin Plan. The first version of the River Basin Plan for the development, use and protection of the water resources of the Chu River basin was presented at the meeting. The meeting was attended by members of the working group on the development of the river basin plan. The working group includes representatives of all stakeholders of the Chui River basin.

During the meeting, questions were asked about the accounting of used water, the accuracy and relevance of the data in the presented analysis. It was recommended to apply the modelling for the reliability of the results obtained.

At the end of the meeting, all the members of the working group undertook to consider the framework of the identified topical problems in the Chu River basin and submit their feedback prior to upcoming meeting of the River Basin Council.
