To prepare the network for the vegetation period of 2018 as of April 2, 2018, across the Republic the works were performed for the amount of 162.1 million KGS with a plan of 190.0 million KGS or 85%. These funds are used for:

- repair of canals 336.7 km with a plan of 412.8 km or 82%;

- Mechanized cleaning of canals 315.1 km, with a plan of 369.9 km or 85%;

- repair of hydraulic structures - 972 units with a plan of 1161 or 84%;

- Repair of hydroposts 932 units with a plan of 1101 or 85%;

- Repair of pumping stations 84 units with a plan of 102 or 82%;

According to the schedule of works, the preparation of the irrigation network for the growing season will be completed:

- Batken, Osh, Jalal-Abad oblasts - on April 10, 2018;

- Chui and Talas oblasts - April 20, 2018;

- Issyk-Kul and Naryn oblasts on May 1, 2018;

- Orto-Tokoy, Kirov and Papan reservoirs according to the schedule for preparation for vegetation in 2018 are ready to supply irrigation water.
